EUROPEAN & AMERICAN RARE VINTAGE SIGNS

SOMEBODY KEPT THIS ONE.

Everything around it changed. It did not.

WHAT
SURVIVES

Some of these signs belong to names still standing. Most belong to chemists who never signed their work, founders whose names nobody wrote down, factories whose archives burned.

We find the names that disappeared.

ROBERT
SMITH

Robert started collecting signs at twelve. What began as a boy's curiosity is now the research, sourcing, and authentication behind every piece in the collection.

THE
LIBRARY

A growing reference for collectors. How porcelain enamel signs were made, who made them, what makes them authentic, and how to live with them once they're yours.

HOW WE
HELP

MOST OF THIS WORK STARTS WITH A PHONE CALL ABOUT ONE SIGN.

EVERY FRIDAY, A SIGN.

Its story, its history, and why it survived. One piece from the collection, sent directly to your inbox.

One story. Every Friday.

IN THEIR OWN
WORDS.

I buy from Robert because I know he does what he says. He also offers hard-to-find pieces at fair prices. This has been going on for nearly 20 years.
