SERVICE NO. 02
FINDING
WHAT IS MISSING
You know what's missing. Custom sourcing is the work of looking on your behalf, through a network most collectors can't reach independently.
THE PROCESS
HOW EACH ENGAGEMENT MOVES
Not a finder's-fee service. Not a transaction. A long-form relationship built around the work of looking.
1
INITIAL CONVERSATION
Phone or video. We understand your collection focus, the pieces you're hunting, the thematic gaps you're trying to close. Brands, eras, aesthetic preferences. The clearer the picture, the better the recognition when something surfaces.
2
THE SEARCH
Robert encounters pieces matching your criteria at European shows, private sales, pre-auction sourcing, or through dealer networks. You get the call first. No public listing, no competitive bidding. "I found something you need to see."
3
THE DECISION
Photos, details, pricing. Sometimes from a show floor or an estate in Europe. If you want the piece, we secure it. Most pieces source and secure within 7-10 days. Rare pieces requiring extensive authentication or auction timing can take 30-90 days. Delivery averages 2-4 weeks from commitment.
4
LOGISTICS
Authentication, shipping, international logistics, tariffs, customs, and delivery timing. All handled. You approve a delivered price; we manage the rest.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
WHAT SOURCING COVERS
The mechanics behind "I found something you need to see."
PRE-MARKET ACCESS
First look at pieces before public sales. The dealer-network and estate-sale channels most American collectors can't reach independently.
REAL-TIME ACQUISITION
Decisions made from show floors and estate visits, sometimes within hours. Photos and pricing arrive fast. If you commit, the piece is yours.
AUTHENTICATION INCLUDED
Every piece verified. When formal documentation is needed for high-value pieces, we coordinate with authentication partners.
INTERNATIONAL REACH
European inventory, dealer networks, private sales overseas. Shipping, tariffs, customs coordination are all handled.

SPECIFIC OR THEMATIC
Specific pieces (a sign you owned and regret selling) or emotional themes (the signs you grew up around). The vision can evolve. The work adapts.
ONE DELIVERED PRICE
No finder's fees, retainers, or commissions. Acquisition cost plus network value plus logistics, all in a single delivered price.

THE RELATIONSHIP
BUILT ON
DEPTH
The work isn't volume, it's depth. Some of the longest collector relationships started with a single piece. What people collect always means something, and Robert pays attention to why. By the time he says "this one has your name on it," he's spent enough time with the collection to mean it.

We built the network by being the kind of dealers we'd want to work with: responsive, honest about condition and provenance, transparent about pricing, careful about where pieces land. The longest relationships work that way, both ways. The reputation isn't just a business asset. It's how we sleep at night.

If you're looking for a one-time transaction, this isn't the right fit. If you're building something that might take years, it usually is.
